There's your consolation prize. Last weekend I had to man the gallery I was exhibiting at. I rocked in at 10am and started by setting up some signage. The exhibitor before me had kindly donated a wooden sign. Little did I realise there were exposed nails underneath, right where it's most convenient to hold, so I stabbed my hand when I went to pick it up. You just know it's gonna be a good day... and that day would continue with my exhibition competing for attention with the AFL grand final. Then later that day, after a series of small events I can't be arsed typing out, my bad day peaked with my car getting broken into in Northbridge. High fives for bad days. Chances are today will be better! At least really bad days make good stories. There’s your consolation prize.
